Does long sits between flights mean long overnights, or sitting around the airport for 3-4 hours before your next leg?

meh.
Its true I was an FO in pre-COVID times and the trips have gotten worse, but with 12 months seniority I used to get 85 hours/month with 15-17 days off

Junior CA award for November is a 9/18 hire. Very likely 10/18 for December. Factor in no hiring for 15 months and the upgrade time is sitting at roughly 18 months.

After the phone interview there’s some candidates that were told on the spot when to come to Indy for a face to face interview and other candidates we’re told they’ll hear back in a few days for the next step, why is that?

Could be a few factors. Have you had checkride failures or accidents/incidents? Low on a particular time?

Multi Time has been discussed previously in this forum and how much is needed for indoc at Republic. I've heard 25, 44, and 50. Has this ever been clarified?

No, and it has never been clear going back years. It constantly changes, depending on hiring environment and even which recruiter you talk to. I've never heard 25 hours being accepted. However 40 to 45 has been accepted before knowing you can get the rest in SIMs. Again it is a constantly changing number and asking here won't clear that up because nobody knows for sure. The bottom line is whatever ME time you can fenagle out of them (40, 45, ???), you will be fine once you show up with that number. Keep the email records to show incase somebody questions you when you arrive at INDOC.
