I would double check again or with another person if you can. I contacted my recruiter yesterday who originally told me in person during my interview that 44 ME is the rule. I asked specifically if the rule had changed or if it was still 44 and she told me that the training department just announced that they will now take pilots with only 25ME. Assuming because its a new rule your recruiter may just be behind on the news.

ATP-CTP
How many weeks prior to ATP-CTP class date should I buy SA and start studying? I heard 2-3 weeks prior but what is your experience ?
Also, what to expect for the class itself? Are the in class tests (if any), hard? Will I have time to study SA with all the material that is being taught in class?
Thank you

Republic will buy you a subscription for it...at least they did 3 or 4 years ago when I did it. I would start about a week before and do the first couple of go through of the questions. I had plenty of time to study after class. Class itself is just death by PowerPoint. Nothing to write home about as far as being difficult. I think the only test was the ATP written.

July new hire here. I did it about a month out but that was because I was moving across the country within that time. Id say about 3 weeks realistically. If you get chosen to do the course with ATP Jets, they fully reimburse the course for Sheppard Air. You will have plenty of time to review for that one exam you take at the end. You do plenty of review and you end up just memorizing the bank. Instructor lets you take a picture of the bank.

Sounds like ATP course won’t be as bad as I thought. Would you say that systems was the most difficult part of the training lol?

I nor anybody in my class got reimbursed for Sheppard air. We took the in house ATP CTP course. Some private ones that the company outsource to may do so but I don't have any info on that. If you do in house you will not be reimbursed.
