Default Republic Pilots: a good place to go?

Closing in on 1500 and Republic is high on my list. For those currently there, would you recommend it for a new hire? I'm in my early 30's and would be able to move to assigned base; would like MCI, if possible, out of training.

Any insights about Republic would be great. Yes, I've dug through the previous threads. Thanks in advance.

If you’re moving to base then yes it’s a great place to work. Probably the best regional right now.

So, I’m paying as much attention as possible to everything on these forums. I see this often - if you’re moving to base, yes... what if you’re not? I live in Austin and will be commuting to any airline, so the “fly for who you can live in base criteria doesn’t work for me” - what’s the next best criteria to look at? I’m 2.5-3 hr drive from both IAH and DFW and many flights to both per day....? Curious to see your thoughts.
Thanks.

Drive to one of those. Beats commuting. Reserve might be a little tough. With a 2 hour callout you'd probably have to drive partway and hang out and read a book or something til your shift is over

Yeah if you live in Austin and go to a regional that doesn’t have a fairly Jr base in DFW or IAH you probably don’t have your priorities straight.

What's the latest on the 100 aircraft coming? Are they actually?

Zero word from the company in over a year. I’d bet a years salary all 100 won’t show up.
