RW said that Republic is closing Miami, and moving their 175s to NY, due to our recent base closure. Glad I’ll have my crew room just for my fellow Envoy pilots, never liked sharing the crew room with y’all

Pretty doucherrific attitude you have there.
Glad it’s not the sentiment of the majority of the envoy pilot group.

Can confirm. RAH will most likely consolidate to the north east and feed that new B6/AA partnership.

MQ says he wants ALL the smoke lol.

Listen, I don’t think anyone is foaming out the mouth over here, but I can say we’re curious on how you folks over there are feeling and thinking.

I don’t want anyone to lose any flying, but I do understand when someone said earlier in regards to how would someone feel if a non wholly owned took flying we can obviously do.

You would feel the same way if the tables were turned. It’s politics. The airline industry is a chess game. We fly the planes and don’t call the shots.

I just hope we all fall on our feet and although I’m happy we’re getting 175’s down in Miami I hope you RAH guys aren’t feeling any sort of way.

Im just a pilot, I don’t mean to hurt nobody!

Delta is still heavily committed to growing Miami and their LATAM presence, and RAH is part of their growth plans. We were supposed to start 12 daily departures out of MIA in May for Delta but COVID delayed those plans. I do not see our Miami base shrinking.

^^^ this, I can tell you MQ doesn’t speak for all of us. This forum just seems to attract the trolls from all the airlines.

That is amongst the most idiotic things ever said here. We are all pawns in the game of life and have zero control.

Yeah this pretty much sums up how people view how the general Envoy pilot thinks. I’m glad I’m not part of that culture.

They've been trying for 2 years to get EOW but have failed to be awarded the necessary OpsSpecs twice.

Default Op Spec Update

While i say this, I hope we all get to keep our flying, RAH ENY whoever, getting a 175 Over water certified costs between 3500-7500$, take that as one will.
