Most of the training in Indy focused on SOP type stuff (about ten days). All the the systems and sim training is in STL.

Hotels provided during training at IND and STL have small kitchen built in to cook dinner and prep lunch? Or are there places to buy lunch near by the training center?

Also from reading previous replies, Systems/FMS are in STL flight safety. Is it taught by RAH instructors or Flight Safety Instructors?

Around how long does it take to get your badge and be cleared to jump seat?

Cheers!

Here's the schedule...

Arrive Monday. Class Tues-Thurs. Off Fri and Sat. Class Sun-Thurs, indoctrination exam is that Thursday. Indoc complete.

You will then travel to STL on Friday after completing indoc.

Yes, small fridge, microwave and counter top.

Taught by FSI instructors. Crew badge will arrive during systems in STL.

Our STL hotel didn't have a microwave in the rooms, but there were several throughout the building including one in a basement area set aside for RAH trainees.

The IND hotel was much nicer and had in-room microwaves.

Both had a refrigerator.

My Indoc was one and a half weeks with the Saturday and Sunday off. So it's a ten day footprint but not actually ten days in class.

I haven't seen any gaps between indoc and systems. There were sometimes gaps of up to a week between systems and sim training, except for the poor chap who didn't have a sim partner and had to wait for the next class to get one.

Would it be a good idea to drive my car to class or is things around the hotel within walking distance? Just thinking I am coming from South FL it will be a long ride!

It's nice to have a car, but likely there will be a couple of others who have one. Make friends!

So what ever happened with the DL lawsuit(s) filed last year? Are they actually pursuing that course of action? If so, what are the conditions?

With the way RJET stock is going, something must not be going very well for RAH.

Delta lawsuit was dropped I believe. However I'm hearing AAG isn't happy now. We'll see if they file.
