This. 2,000ish pilots at Republic is a large voting block. That would be about 2% of the actual vote count. Spread the word.

Is reserve at ORD really measured in YEARS right now? I'm lucky enough to have offers from Envoy, Republic, and SkyWest, but I live near ORD so want to be there. 2 years on reserve would stink.
Also, I think I heard Republic was getting a SAP (sked adj period) like PSA has. Is that true or just another crazy rumor. Thanks for the feedback, I have a wife and 2 little ones, so qol is important to us as I try to decide where to go.

SAP is waiting on FLICA/SABRE to write the software. Anyone's guess on how long that will take.

As for ORD reserve, it's just about the most senior base, I wouldn't say YEARS, but months. Maybe a year. Much depends on the bases after single certificate on Jan 31 as well as what shedule the delivery of the 24 additional United birds takes after Chap 11 exit. So it's VERY hard to predict with any certainty at this time. Anyone who says otherwise is just purely guessing.

Someone from scheduling came and talked to our indoc class a few weeks ago. She made it sound like SAP would be done in January/February. Apparently the company and the union are working together to straighten out the Flica SAP issues. No idea if there is any truth to that but that is what we were told.

Take it with a grain of salt...

When I interviewed 4 yrs ago, they swore upgrades would be two years and a pilot contract "very soon". Contract took three more years and still waiting today on an upgrade,...

Vote out Hoffa, and Bourne and the entire Airline Division will be replaced.

Hoffa's VP is being chargedby the Fed's for corruption. This is the 2nd member on the Hoffa Slate being charged by the Fed's, Rome Aloise, Western Region VP, was the first.

Vote in some new leadership.

Vote Fred Zukerman and the Teamsters United Slate.

For the pazst two years, we have fought a hard campaign to take back our union from the corrupt leadership of Hoffa-Hall. We have known for years about Ken Hall’s corruption and deceit, and today the Feds caught on.

Federal anti-corruption officials have charged Hoffa’s running mate Ken Hall with obstructing investigations into corruption by hiding and destroying thousands of documents and emails. The charges against Hall will likely result in his expulsion from the Teamsters.

For over six months, Hall lied and stonewalled the investigators to hide the corruption scandal from the members until after the International Union election.

But Teamster members still have time to vote against Hoffa-Hall corruption. Now's the time to Get Out the Vote -- Ballots must be mailed by November 9 to be counted on November 14.

Ken Hall lied to the Feds, and lies to the membership. Read up on the charges here and spread the word. Let's hold Hoffa-Hall accountable, and vote them out. Talk to fellow Teamster members, pass out leaflets, and take back our union!

Sorry, but who really gives a flying **** about anything having to do with the teamsters? The entire organization is corrupt and the fact that I'm forced to even be associated with it make my ****ing skin crawl.

On the scheduling committee, they are saying that feb/march bidding should be with SAP. Who knows when it will actually debut.

I have heard of a few people who got MCI right out of training this summer. I am moving to MCI in a few months and feel confident I will be able to get it is a base when we move (I'm a few weeks into training now). I would plan for a northeast base at first. The bonus is paid in full within the first 30 days of your start date. Starting Dec 1st the bonus will be paid partially up front and the rest at the end of OE. I am not sure how much you will get up front.

Since your name is "Rahlifer" you are the one who should care the most. Unless you want your new contract for 10-15 years, then don't bother.

Everyone else, vote, pay attention, volunteer, or at a minimum keep asking your elected representatives questions.
