What is the reserve situation? I was told no reserve if I were to go to NY. Likely get a line straight out of training. I wanted to do a little fact checking since after reading from the beginning of this thread there was a lot of talk of reserve. Is this true only of ny (other bases too?) or am I getting some bad info?

When is your class date? Was it the earliest available they offered?

Bonus points if it can be stated as just a fact without editorializing.
Cambria in IND. Holiday Inn in STL. Both locations single occupancy. No free breakfast/mgr reception at either location so go to a grocery store. However, FSI offers bagels, donuts, fruits, and oatmeal in the morning!

NYC , especially LGA is hurting for FOs. They were right about it.

No you are correct. LGA has no reserve for next month and EWR has 1 or 2 rsv. All other bases have more but with the hiring like it is I couldn't see you being on reserve longer than a few months if you chose another base. You will most likely get EWR or Lga right out of trading because that is where they need the most pilots.

I start Feb 2nd. How junior is DCA? I live in the mountains of VA do DCA is commutable but I could do 1 leg to LGA from IAD if needed.

Can you explain? Are you saying they don't offer class in April? Why only March 1st or May?

Thanks
