No staffing changes likely, most contracts out there are already more restrictive. CDO's now look to be impossible, so whatever impact that may have is not yet known. However, I think airlines can just modify their flight schedules to accommodate these new rules with minimum staffing impact.

Maybe it will accelerate the demise of the 50 seaters? Not to be taken as a shot at the regional guys' jobs, but if it does in fact mean there will be more hiring at the majors, then maybe getting rid of the 50 seaters faster will result in faster movement up the chain. I certainly hope this is the case.

Although I like to bid CDOs once in a while, they should have never been legal in the first place.
