I said, "worked on", as in Mechanic. I'll take his word over the G-men any day of the week. Conspiracy's aren't always wrong. The government ain't always right.

The gov is almost never right in matters of opinion, but when you get into matters of fact they tend to do better, aircraft crash investigations are one of the few things they do well. No expense was spared in reaching the ultimate cause of this crash. I am not really concerned with the feelings or opinions
of a mech not well versed in Boeing products.

The fact is that blaming it on a missile attack by terrorists would have been the easiest and best service to the gov cause at the time. They didn't do that.

Why wasn't the possibility of a fuel tank explosion being the cause of the last line of flight recorder data examined? I don't think the center fuel tank explosion was the cause of the unusual readings for a number of reasons but it should have been evaluated. It would have strengthened the board's case if they could account for the readings that way. It seems the board is the one blowing off flight recorder data and scores of eyewitness statements to prove their own predetermined theory.

Would you tell us a little about you actual experience with Boeing products and how you handled the ADs resulting from this investigation?

Actually, I worked as a maintenance supervisor for an airline that operated Boeing 727s and 757s as well as DC-9s, L1011s, and A-300s. I oversaw compliance with scores of AD notes on aircraft going through the "D" check line, but that was before the TWA 800 event, so I have not ensured the compliance with any AD notes that may have arisen from this incident. Tell us what you did, though, we are all ears.

So you never worked the ADs on numerous Boeing products that were the subject of this investigation.

I just flew them, but I was acutely aware of the systems and implications. Many operators spent millions to make these systems safer. No money was spent on missile defense.

So your comment is that you have never complied with or overseen the compliance of any AD notes. At all? Ever? And you further state that such experience is a prerequisite for commenting. It would seem that you have no experience with the issue and have disqualified yourself from commenting.

I would say flying several types of the aircraft subject to these ADs is experience with the issue. Not quite as safe as turning a wrench.

Now, are you a big conspiracy buff or just loving this particular conspiracy?

Well, I have no doubt that as a pilot you were not safe. No argument there at all.

So tell us who launched those missiles and what make and model they were.
We all love a good laugh at crazy, problem is we are fully stocked up on crazy. We all love a nutcase for the humor.
