This is my thinking exactly. Airbus has called the c-series "complimentary". Im thinking the CS-500 gets born and ultimately becomes the replacement airframe for the A320neo.
Regardless, this is great news for the CS100 and CS300 programs which will now be viewed more optimistically. I am sure more airlines will be interested.
