Quote: SO.....Why did you?

Stupidity, arrogance, the standard pilot belief that I can overcome any obstical. They happened to hire me the same day I heard of them so I didn't do any research. I was expecting to leave in a few months to go to another airline that I was in a pool for, but the airline was bought and the pool ended.

Even if I had become educated, I never would have believed that it would be as bad as it is and that a company would do the kinds of things that they do.

I think stupidity is probably the leading candidate. It was a mistake that I would hope others don't make.

No not so much bluffing, but they change their mind as quickly as the weather changes in Atlanta.

The only thing GoJet can hang their hat on is that they're a cheap provider of outsourced flying. That's it. Granted, that formula has worked since their inception, but this time that "upside" might not be enough to keep Delta or United around. There have been so many rumors about the demise of G7 through the years that haven't panned out...but this time something seems different. We shall see in January when United is slated to "make their announcement..." concerning the fate of 25 CRJ-700s.

We know that at least one is coming off the GoJet’s line.

9E guy here we are being told to still expect growth in 2019 and that growth has to come from somewhere add in the fact that delta doesn’t want to spend the 35-50 million to start the jungle jet here (at this time) that leaves one company to take CRJs from. Makes no sense for 9E to run three 700s. Also add in that Delta wants to avoid a long drawn out transition of aircraft from one company to another like what happened with ASA because the disruption in service when the news comes it will be min time to get the aircraft here and we are staffed to take them.
