Quote: Just wondering...wasn't there supposed to be a response from APA/AA today? First time caller, long time listener...
There was an e-mail from a few APA base reps who are commuters basically saying that they are aware of the situation and working with AA management to resolve it. That likely means ensuring the American priority list is adhered to on AA and AE coded flying.
I’m confused. Someone said AA pilots are now D6 on republic flights. Do they really think AA is going to change the codes for when an AA pilot lists on republic?

That's the problem. They will clear D6UJ before d1/2 fdj. So AA has the lowest priority now.

This post doesn’t make sense.

AA can't list as D6UJ. So AA is now at the bottom, because they will clear D6UJ's before D1/D2 FDJ for the jumpseat.

I think the theme here is that people are telling the republic guys that the gate agents will continue to clear d1/2 first no matter what republics manuals say. Not saying that’s right or wrong. That’s just the way it’s going to go down.

Ok let me rephrase this slightly. Their intent is to put AA/WO at the bottom. And their union letter recommends that the Captain ensures they don't allow D1/D2 JS's if there is a D6UJ listed.

I used to ride on RAH all the time. Never once did I see one of their Captains “pre-flight” the jumpseat and take a stroll to see if anyone needed a ride. So I don’t think any of this will amount to much more than a small handful of pilots being shafted. And honestly I doubt AA will change anything.
Quote: Pretty cocky to think a commuter airline with 80 planes operating a contract for a flag carrier is going to start a jumpseat war with the worlds largest airline over priority on the flag carrier’s own coded flights and not need a little luck. It is this exact attitude that is going to turn us against you and fight this. Most of us on here think what you are asking for is fair, but the few clowns on here trying to swing your **** like you have a dog in the fight is why you are getting the response from AA pilots you are currently getting. You truly think that the AA pilots and APA are just going to accept this? You think that AA, who owns 25% of Republic doesn’t have the pull with the board of directors at RAH to reverse this? I think you’ll need a little luck which is ok to admit. Hell, I’ll take a little luck any day of the week. Clearly you are blinded by your own arrogance here.
Reciprocating a reciprocal agreement is a jumpseat war? ummkay

Are you frustrated your intimidation tactics aren't working? Seems like it.

Incorrect, nothing has changed as far as your non-rev priority.
