Quote: I could give them a short pass with how fast loads dropped off the cliff last spring, it would have been nearly impossible to stay within limits with all the moving parts. Things should have been squared up within a month or two though, yet they may or may not be meeting the numbers still.

At least they weren’t violating scope provisions prior to the Covid dropoff...
I'm sure that pass will be reciprocated some day, because generosity.

Poor A$$ Spelling Selection? Bad choice of words, at the time of everything happening I wasn’t too upset. My understanding ran out when the violations continued well after the initial drawdown.

honestly I would have agreed to give them a pass during COVID had they not gone nuclear anti union the second we were not critically understaffed on pilots. Had they taken AAs or JetBlue’s initial approach March-august and tried to work with ALPA I could see giving a short term pass. But they felt obligated to break out the hammer as soon as they could and I think we all suddenly lost any sympathy… ”what’s a SIL?”

Thats what I was attempting to say, just did it poorly. I don’t give them any pass now, but at the very beiginning I could understand some leeway. Then decisions were made in the name of optics and attempting to get concessions and that good will went elsewhere. Now we get beat up while watching what I would assume will be a long drawn out negotiation with management claiming hardship due to staffing and other self inflicted wounds.

Good times.

yes I know, I am prior CPZ (post flow days). My point was management will try to spin it as something that we already had. I hope it goes to MEMRAT. No Give on scope.

But why not? You earned your job at Dal. Don’t you want to see the next generation just handed the job you worked so hard for just by flying without even having to build their resumes, volunteering and networking?
