Family in law enforcement and personal observation not to mention data. I read once where most criminals don’t get caught until they are in double digits. In addition if you truly committed just one crime with no other history of arrests ect.. it’s very possible to get that expunged and have a clean record.
The only remorse the majority of criminals feel is getting caught!

I have never heard of *career* criminals being hired as airline pilots. Have you? Youthful mistakes should be look at differently. Agreed?

WRT flow... there will never be another one.

The company doesn't want it.

Sorry, I don’t engage with people who create an account just to push their personal agenda, especially when it turns out there is more to the story looking for validation.

They don’t want a flow so bad, they published a memo stating they’re evaluating flow programs.

That was an attempt to shape the battlefield for negotiations, current or imminent. See it for what it really is.

Using criminal history information to make employment decisions may violate Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended (Title VII).... unless the crime is specifically relevant to the job position.

There is no flow and likewise, there are 35 less RJs. The LOA is Compass specific and would require a new agreement. Sect 6. is in effect.

Last time I checked, we still had 717s parked. Not a good look to be asking for more large RJs at this point.

Sure, it could be that. It also could be that they want bodies in seats at the regional and not leaving for LCCs who are already able to hire and train.
