Quote: Check out DeltaNet. As of June 1st, no more peanuts because of peanut allergies. I CAN'T fly without peanuts.....ok, actually I have been flying on peanuts.
Peanut allergies are deadly. In fact, it's the most deadly food allergy.

I get it. But I'm not allergic to them, nor are my kids. I like them! Just messing around Columbia.
So can we officially say the peanuts are "Tango Uniform" or can we say the peanuts are tits up?
BTW...there goes breakfast, lunch, and dinner...now what are the FO's going to eat?
I think this peanut allergy stuff is for the birds! Seriously. So approximately 1 million people are potentially deathly allergic to peanuts. Honestly, they should stay home then for their own safety. There's so many things in life that have peanuts or similar nuts in them it's ridiculous.

I can't believe if someone complains, we're not going to serve peanuts or anything else with peanuts on the plane. Wasn't the peanut ban a row before and after sufficient for these folks? Did anyone die? Were there any diverts due to anaphylactic shock?

The planes are riddled with peanut dust. It's airborne and on the seats, carpet, furnishings, etc. Since the airline can't guarantee an allergen free airplane, then those folks that are life threatened by the allergy shouldn't fly. It isn't safe. For those who aren't going to die if they come into contact with the peanut residue, then I guarantee you, my M&Ms aren't going to kill you either. Good grief.
+1>>>>We live in a band aid society. By the time our kids have children, kids will be in five point harnesses. These will be secured by a car seat surrounded with safety bags. To further protect them from disaster, kids will wear shin guards, elbow pads, and helmets. Alll of this while their soccer moms text and drive....

Next we'll discover that Biscoff wafers and the infrequent crew meal cause cancer. That's fine, take them off and feed me real food.
It's friday
The terminals seem to have some good eats now but who can afford the prices other than the 744A, 777A, 7erA?
I'm with KC10 Fatboy... I hate this attitude that we must eliminate all risk 100%, subject 99.9% of the population to various and sundry restrictions because .1% may be at risk. It's not just peanuts, it's so many other things too. Vastly more folks are killed every year driving to and from work, but we don't outlaw driving. Kids get hurt playing sports, should we outlaw sports? The minute risk to a minute fraction of folks who don't know they have a peanut allergy and may be at risk of eating peanuts for the first time in their life on board a Delta flight and keeling over shouldn't dictate no peanuts for everyone. Sorry, but they're a great food, low carb and healthy, not messy, don't trash a plane, keep forever.
Maybe if we replace them with almonds...
