Quote: So is there a pay upgrade at 1200, or does that happen at 1500/CA as well?

Thanks again
Raises at both.

Quote: Eh, depends. 70-100 is pretty average, some do more if their base isn’t full and they are able to pick up extra days.

The ones doing 120/month are picking up extra shifts. Not everyone is able to do that, especially in the outstations.

Thanks, sounds like they are doing a lot of flying! Do you know what their schedules look like? And do the pilots have CASS?

Flight benefits
Can someone who already works at Cape Air answer for me? My husband got the offer letter. What are the flight benefits for the pilot’s spouse with Cape Air’s partnered airlines?

I know he will get 6 round trip buddy passes for friends and family on Cape Air flights. But what about other Airlines?

About how many flight hours would you say accrue during the training?

Schedules are typically 4/4 or similar, yes CASS and KCM.

Spouse and children get access to zed fares on a very long list of airlines. A couple include parents too. JetBlue at 3 mos of employment the rest at 6. And pilot had jumpseat privileges.

A good percentage is simulator. You’ll get more actual hours first week on the line than in training, I’d think.

Crash pad
For those who commute, how much do you pay for crash pads? Or do you stay elsewhere?

Most of us rent rooms and many live in base, because it’s not exactly a crash pad-friendly situation when you’re back in base every night.

The only market that has overnights is Billings. Some people have crash pads there.

HOME Bases
Which of the bases/hubs are not actual HOME bases? I heard no pilots are based at STL. Anyone know which other bases are NOT home bases?
