A good percentage is simulator. You値l get more actual hours first week on the line than in training, I壇 think.

Default Crash pad

For those who commute, how much do you pay for crash pads? Or do you stay elsewhere?

Most of us rent rooms and many live in base, because it痴 not exactly a crash pad-friendly situation when you池e back in base every night.

The only market that has overnights is Billings. Some people have crash pads there.

Default HOME Bases

Which of the bases/hubs are not actual HOME bases? I heard no pilots are based at STL. Anyone know which other bases are NOT home bases?

It would be helpful if we knew if this was for an FO or a Captain, and what region. There are more Captain bases than FO bases.

But correct, STL is not a base. Neither is ORD, nor ALB.

I知 asking for FO and the Midwest region is what I知 most interested in, but it would be nice to know what all the FO home base options are.

Is it possible to commute and still maintain a good QOL? How likely is it to get KBOS?

For FO痴:
Kirksville, MO
Decatur, IL
Marion, IL
Ft. Leonard Wood (although this tended to be PIC, and may be going away)
