Rolloutflare: Which airport(s)?

I know Omni is all about " learn it yourself and we'll see if you learned it," but some may appreciate the actual gouge rather than a vague reference.

Wonder how that June 12 "Open Recruitment Fair" went... I suspect it was partially designed to serve as a barometer.

Questions
What is the junior Captain DOH?

Do the 767s have the old cockpits or the newest mod?

Thank you.

July 2014. Old cockpits.

That might change if a 3rd party vender does not step up to support the 767 software. Boeing is no longer supporting the older cockpit software updates. What Omni will do, is it will do the most cost effective way in the short term than the long term. That is their operational model. Just like Omni will NEVER fly a Winglet 767 fleet. Never is only a CBT event away at Omni.

Who is Don P. Millican?
Very strange as this person seems to be the one holding all the cards.

Perhaps OAI is actually preparing for liquidation.

So this guy is a manager at OAI... which has a few more principals/manager... and somehow this equates to liquidation?

Is the amount of money they're putting into the airplanes (including more 777s and a Winglet 767) indicative of a company about to liquidate as well?

1+1=13?

I mean, if they are, then something concrete would be useful for people to make their career decisions. But this is a #$% of a stretch.

I don't suspect Omni has intentions of liquidating. Omni is in the business of making money. However, management has made it clear there is a point where it is more cost effective for them to lease out the airplanes rather than operate them themselves. They claim this point is somewhere lower than what the negotiators are asking for in a new contract. None of us plebeians will really know until it is too late. Though, you have to wonder, to whom will they lease the airplanes. Not many are significantly involved in passenger charter operations nor do they seem to want to be.

Widebody PAX Charter: Atlas Air is the only competitor I am aware of in the U.S. This is strictly a relative comparison to say that Atlas is a higher cost competitor as their cost will continue to go up. Other than that, there is Delta, United and American for PAX Charters.
