So I guess the Omni travel department has decided to disregard the U.S. State Departments warning of unnecessary travel through certain airports by booking crewmember connecting travel at these locations, because it's cheaper. Way to go Omni! Show how you really care about your employees safety! Over fly your intended destination by 4 hours into an airport that the State Department has travel warnings, sit for a few hours and hope your not in the middle of an explosion, only to fly another 4 hours back to where you overflow 10 hours earlier. but it was cheaper and that's that! 😡

This is absurd. Omni's travel department is either incompetent or vindictive. To fly a guy 4 hours past his destination, make him sit in an unsafe place for 3 hours, then 4 more hours back in what is likely a middle seat is disgusting.

Without equal, the worst part of working at Omni, and they are many bad parts, is the travel. It is truly cruel. Travel concocts routings that are stupid, lengthy, and painful. They claim it is to save $. I am sure at this point it is "because they can"

Seems to be the theme here at Omni! if we go back through this thread we find many examples of Omni not taking responsibility for their employee’s safety and well being. From being robbed at gun point in the hotel parking lot to the bombing down the street from our hotel. How can we forget being abandon overseas, because one of our loved ones pasted. This is just another example of the lack of management, or effort at the head office. My parole board meets soon. I can only hope i get paroled this time around. We may not know what we want in a company, but I can say with certainty I know what I don’t want.
