Quote: I scored an interview March 8th. I’m looking at the RVS base. Any insite or updated interview gouge would be great. If anyone here is at the RVS base. How is the QOL there?
I'm not sure if you are PIC or SIC, but Jetlinx SIC start quite a bit more than the 56k mentioned above. Might be worth a look.

Could you elaborate on the Jetlinx pay? When I spoke with them a few months ago it was basically a 70/80/90K pay scale on most accounts and that’s if they were able to staff the acct fully. So you start out a little higher but after a few years the pay would be significantly less than an 8/6 fractional. And you were basically always on call with only 6-8 hard days off if I remember right. Has something changed?
Just trying to stay up to date on the industry as things are changing fast. Thanks

There is no pay scale at Jet Linx, it is pretty much whatever you can negotiate. That said, management has stated that they use the "high" number from the pro pilot survey as their target:

It's my understanding though, that really only applies to PIC. I had a base chief pilot tell me that there are no SICs making less than 70k. Apparently the pay gap between SIC and PIC is smaller than most operations. There is also opportunities for soft money that usually amounts to 3-4K extra each year.

All second hand info, so take it for what it's worth.

Looking forward to your visit to KC for an interview here at EAS next week Avi8tor441!

Jetlinx is a solid operator operating out of the Tulsa, OK area as well as EAS. Our newly released pilot salary increase along with the schedule, represent a QOL most won't find at any level of the corporate aviation industry as pilots continue to progress professionally.

While you think air share has good pay and schedule overall QOL is still a little low. At my job we had people leave in the last 2 years to take another job with a pay cut just to get an extra 3 to 10 days off per month. Along with some home basing options. I say adjust everyone on an 8/6 schedule and look at home base options then Air share will really take off. Hell maybe offer an option either 8/6 schedule for home basing 7/7 for those who live in base.

Are you asking me for tips on getting the invite? If so, all I did was throw Facebook message to a recruiter and told him when I would have my app in. I was asked when I would like to come in for an interview the next day. Sadly I had to schedule it out further than I would have liked due to my current company being extreamly short staffed this month, but EAS didn’t seem to have an issue with me making the interview date 3 weeks later.

QOL is different for everyone, as we all have a different set of circumstances defining our QOL parameters. Some of the common denominators are schedule, pay, aircraft, maintenance, home base/commutable, etc, and many of those items are provided. I do get quite a few questions about the home base option, as this is an industry trend for some operators, but not an option at this point in time.

The application process is started via our company website, where we get an idea of your flight time, base preference, etc. If you are qualified (SIC or PIC) we will give you a call either way to verify the information we received and then discuss our open positions to see if there is a good option that will work for you. I'll usually send an email of interview dates available here in KC and let you find a date that works. If you're not qualified for an SIC or PIC position, I will usually reach out via email stating we received your application and answer any FAQ's you might have as you continue to gain experience towards our hiring mins. Easy!
