Flashlight recommendations
Looking to get a new flashlight and need ideas. I prefer compact yet bright enough to preflight on a rainy morning. Also made in the USA is a plus.

First time posting!
Hello, fellow pilots wherever you are!

I've registered as a member on the forum 3 years ago, but didn't post anything until today! I did my PPL in 2019, and I'm planning to continue my training. I have a topic that I'd like to ask for your opinions about, so I may start a new thread, if that's the regular thing to do, as the topic may have been discussed in the past (I found posts, but they are almost 5 years old).

Hello
Hello fellow aviators. I’m excited to be a part of the forums and learn from you all. I’m a former USAF Nav, CFII, and now a rookie FO at a regional (just in time for COVID).

Welcome aboard. This is a good group of folks. Realize you can trust over half of what is posted and sometimes we argue endlessly about some minutia. But that is much better odds than other places, and it is done at a higher level.

Thank you!

I’ve stalked the forums for awhile, but I look forward to participating in some discussions.

There are everyone from students who are working on their private license to retired grey beards. Mostly commercial pilots. A handful of others that work or sit outside of the cockpit. So, all question and comments are welcome, except for those answered on the same thread a page ago, or trolls (not very many of the latter, unliked other social media.)

Obviously there are things we do not want to discuss on this public forum. Also follow the rules, no names unless publicly well known. No slander. Etc. Pretty common sense. Moderators are pilots who volunteer their time. None of us are perfect, but they do a very admirable job, usually get involved when someone really steps out of line.
