I waited close to 7 months from interview to class date! Well worth the wait, personally

Do you know, was your call for the phone screen a result of VIB, WAI, or just the latest App window? Trying to figure out the secret to getting to where you're at!

Was the wait due to the background checks?

Yes it was. Sterling was not very proactive with getting things done. I believe they are no longer doing the checks, so hopefully things get done a little quicker. I know others had the same issue with them as well.

I have advised many people in the past. When you make it to Phase II you have to make sure you ride Sterling like a $10 ***** almost everyday. If they run into a snag with your processing you might be the last to know. Sometimes it simply take a little intervention from the applicant for small issues, which could otherwise cause you application process to get stalled.

Just FYI

I would have been in class a month sooner but sterling didn't let me know a previous airline didn't send in my employment history. Had to send in my w2 to verify when jb called. He said sorry but wasn't anything he could have done.

Sterling no longer does the back ground checks. Now it's a company called General Information Services, Inc. (GIS)

can I pickup up on these days? And still be pay protected for it? Or can I only VDA, RTF, RSA?

Anyone else who got the phone screen still waiting on the email to set up the interview date/time? Not sure what to think at this point. My phone screen was Monday and all seemed to go well.
