On the 1st of the month after you've completed 30days with the company
When coverage begins/ends. ? Life is Better in Blue
If you're hired April 15th then coverage would begin June 1st.

What is DFT? (got my first hard line for May)
You're responsible for that trip officially until 7am the day before. Technically they can give you the trip back up until that time. You can't pick up anything in open time or from the trade board that touches the footprint of that trip, but you can put in a RTF over the same day.
If you do that, CS has to call and offer you a trip before they give it to a reserve pilot. You can turn down the trip, so don't be afraid to answer the phone for free of being required to take the trip.
On a side note, if you see a trip disappear from open time you would have liked to fly, check and see if it was assigned to a reserve pilot. Sometimes CS forgets to call the RTF guys. If that was the case, you will be pay protected for that trip also.
To answer your original question....if they do call and you accept a trip over a DFT, you will get paid for both trips (the one you got DFTd, and the one you fly)
Good luck.

Read up on your FSM especially the pay section. Not trying to be a d!ck...seems like duh capt obvious But knowledge is the key to making max pay or keeping your days off in tact when the company starts getting creative.

Friend of mine got the TBNT after the phone screen too. No idea on the time to reapply, however, I would in the next window. It is likely a year or six months.

I really don't understand our recruiting department. They seem to have things squared away and then a few different people get in there and the whole process gets screwed up. Why would you call someone if you don't plan on bringing them in to interview? Why get their hopes up? They have all your information on your application. If they're asking additional questions in the phone interview than what's on the application why not just put those questions on the app? I understand getting clarification on a question or two from an individual and not liking the answers but from what's been posted above this is happening to a number of guys. Do we now have 4 phases? Did we have 3 phases before? I still haven't gotten notification I passed phase 2 from 3 years ago so maybe I should shut up.
