G-600 TXi
Saw on their social media pages that they are upgrading the avionics on the B-99s to the Garmin G-600 TXi suite . . . can anyone currently working for them confirm that info and how many planes they have upgraded already? I'm looking for an outstation-based type of cargo gig due to a need to be at my living place during the day.

Wow! Is that for real? That makes zero sense to me? What is the motivation? Can’t be cheaper then maintaining two sets of 6 packs, can it?

Just saw they have a posting for crews on Climbto350. It stated that crews get a whole 7 days off a month, That cannot be right. Anyone know if that is the same for the King Air on the charter side?

FOs get 7 hard days off per month, now done in 4 week bids so I’d guess it’s 6.5 days. Upon upgrade to captain it goes up to 9-13 hard days off depending on airframe and years of service. Of course you get minimum off periods required by part 135. The B350 doesn’t fly a lot and is well staffed. I’d recommend applying and take time during the interview to tour the facilities and talk to as many pilots as you can. It’s a great place to work, but part 135 is not for everyone.

Cheers

Hi JasonR, I checked out there website, any information that you can share about the part time positions would be appreciated. Thanks.

You’d have to check with recruiting, just call the office and talk with Taryn during normal business hours M-F. IIRC, part time positions are for DEC candidates who simply work on a day rate contract type basis.
