Quote: You can't follow along, can you? Urbandrone has said he was doing something outside of your contract as well as being rewarded somehow outside of it, too. What you describe here is typically not outside of any contract. Again, nice try.

What the company has done outside of contract for me. Given me motel rooms when I have a short overnight in domicile when something went to crap. I have been given positive space travel on my first flight out when it looked bad so I didn't have to use the call in honest policy. (Talking to other pilots company has really went far beyond what the contract requires when it comes to the call in honest policy) They have eliminated my sitting ready reserve for the past couple of months, I was given a small cost of living pay adjustment this year without having to negotiate, I have asked the CP help with my schedule and had it approved. The company has treated me well, just the same as every other pilot here. They have wen t beyond what the contract requires.

In turn I have decided that when asked if I can show sooner than the minimum show time of the contract and I can, I will. Yet many will not because it's not required. You also have the right to do it, I just think that if you can make the operation run more smoothly, you should. Both the pilot group and company will benefit.

CS has no idea who I am, the company has no idea who I am. The extras are QOL enhancements the company does for all pilots. No quid Pro quo, or favors for just me, no rewards.

I find it absurd that my prior texts got twisted into asking direct favor from CS for coming in early. The folks who turn this "do the right thing" post into a quid pro quo accusation are the some folks who will nothing more than minimally required of them, noting extra. They also have a moral opposition to people who will do extra and can't see doing it unless a quid pro quo is happening, people of low moral character.

I don't know what scheduler you're lucky to talk to when you call in, but I've NEVER been given approval for PS commuting to work. And my loads look terrible most of the time.

Nothing got twisted. I was quoting your own words. I find it absurd that you think that is somehow twisting words.

People of low character? Mighty strong accusation considering all I'm advocating is following a legally binding contract between two consenting parties. I said several posts ago that I have no problem with pilots going above and beyond as long as it's within the confines of the contract. Pretty simple in my book.

You're in negotiations of some kind right now, correct? As someone else said earlier, you're violating status quo and are only hurting your negotiating ability.

I already had but being accused of having low moral character doesn't sit well with me.

Tell your pal the same thing. His actions aren't impacting me at all.

No. Let the need to be right in true fashion of the alpha male pilot continue the experience of aviation satire. I'm fond of good drama.

Just continuing the age-old, tried and true methods of our brothers of yore.
