Interesting. How does this compare to the prior vacancy numbers or actual positions for ATL.?

In other words, by how much did the numbers grow for Capt.'s and F/O's in the Atlanta base?

Also, can anyone confirm how many of the 900's are slated for the ATL. base?

And finally, how many crews per a/c for Endeavor?

Thanks, AU.

Actually it's really only 95 if you subtract the 18 positions lost in MSP.

Anyone care to elaborate how much they're spending in NYC as a reserve each month, going to and from airport, crash pad, etc.

I know ATL is going to be cheaper than NYC, but I'd like to see some actual numbers. Debating about where to try and upgrade

Crashpads run $300 per month in Kew. The Endeavor shuttle provides free transport to/from JFK/LGA multiple times per day. If you don’t want to wait for the shuttle, an Uber/Lyft ride will be in the neighborhood of $16-22 each way. There are grocery stores in Kew that help keep the cost of food down, but if you’re a captain, you won’t be sitting around in Kew much anyway. Good luck!

So what base/equipment do you guys think would be fastest to get off reserve for a CA ?

$300 for a crash pad. The shuttle is a hit or miss in terms of the times working out in my favor. Sometimes I take public transportation which runs around $30-50 a month for me. Spend around $50-70 on uber/cabs. Kew cab runs $12 from Kew-JFK/LGA or around $22 to go between JFK-LGA. I fly everyday on reserve. I used to get quality 3-4 day trips but as of late it’s been deadheading multiple times to fly 1-2 legs. Still though, I rarely spend anytime in my crash pad.

Crashpad in kew are about $300, however in like Jackson Heights/East Elmhurst or around closer to Jamaica station near jfk you can pay $200-280. A yellow cab from airport to airport with tip is about 40. Lyft will run about 20-40 depending on traffic or time of day. However don’t use Uber/lyft, use Juno, it’s a New York only ride share app that’s usually cheaper than the previous mentioned two. When it comes to crashpads I’ve come to learn a handful of people seem to control the market depending on the area you are looking at. A couple people own almost a dozen properties.

Welcome to New York City realty...

If you care about skypesos, you can link your Lyft account to it and at least get something for your expenses.
