28 AVROS coming back might bring some old XJ'ers from Delta.

The big F word is they only way we would be able to get bodies in the door to staff this, that or they're gonna park more 200s and train people already on property to an all 7/9 fleet.

Agreed. But I don't see that helping 9E long term. B scale would make sense...meter pilots to Delta under certain parameters. Adjust the pay similar to the current DL900 rates. Who knows...but I think we can all agree that adjusting our bonus into pay is a short term victory.

They only have 22 700s for Delta flying according to Wikipedia. I have heard this rumor as well and logistically it does not make sense for us to only have three 700s.

Heard those 3 700's come last and there for keywest stuff. Wouldn't be shocked if we got more though.

We will get more. No doubt there. Does not make financial sense to stock parts for 700s too if we only have 3

They've already said the long term plan is all 2 class, around 180 airframes. So and further addition of CR7/9, no matter from where, is going to come with a further reduction in CR2 flying.

Really looking forward to seeing what our MEC presents to us with regards to real career progression to DAL for pilots on property and those to come. Will they be able to bring us something that mirrors the AA feeders? If this thing was truly rushed and forced upon our negotiators to please DAL, not sure it will pass with a strong "yes" vote. Gonna be interesting...
