I'm not saying you won't get a flow. I said the you aren't getting a flow to staff the C-series. They don't need you for that. They will staff it just fine without a flow.

Ahh. I misread msprj2’s post with his random periods and line changes. I should be used to them by now.

I agree on that point. They will staff those no issue

If you have had any trade/drops denied by Crew Scheduling because of this, complete a pilot issue form with ALPA so that this practice gets documented and a remedy can be reached.
Crew scheduling made the decision to do that about, I'd say 6 weeks ago... Love how they just make up rules on the fly. They've also decided that CDO line holders can't swap CDO's for day flying....

Ive had issues for the better part of 6 weeks, every trade I tried was denied. All of them said "CDOs may only be traded for an equal number or greater number of CDOs."

Fill out a pilot issue union form.

This is a good point. For example, United Airlines hasn't hired for a while and will not hire again until January-March timeframe. Met a hiring captain for them on a J/S request and he said that even guys with Masters degrees and fighter jet time wont even get a call until next year.

Last I heard, they weren't hiring because their training department is so backed up with the mass re-training required by the 747 displacements at UA. And they have a new training center under construction that is limiting training footprints
