No Flow
Quote: Upgrade times are dropping, but are not currently even close to 2 years... 2 years from now, who knows. And for the last time THERE IS NO FLOW TO DELTA. The current offering, is an off the street interview opportunity at Delta after at least 2 years as a captain at Endeavor for new hires.
Quote: So I had a friend interview at Endeavor yesterday. They told him that upgrade time has dropped to less than two years and that 30+ per month are "flowing" to Delta. He is taking the job and not looking anywhere else.... Are any of these claims true?
It about 2-3 year upgrade currently, possibly quicker. There is no flow to delta. Like everyone else has said its just a guaranteed interview. Approximately 60% success rate at the delta guaranteed interview on average. Sometimes higher sometimes lower. a few months ago only 20% who interviewed on the guaranteed interview with Delta were hired, 80% were rejected. but then again there was a month where as many as 70% who interviewed on the guaranteed interview have been hired and only 30% were rejected. So the numbers of successful interviews vary monthly. Success rate for an off the street interview at Delta is much high than through the guaranteed interview program (I've heard around 95%), but then again endeavor does guarantees you the interview, you just have no way of knowing if the interview will be successful. the pass rate is so bad many have "coined" the term "its a coin toss" to describe the possible success at the Delta Guaranteed Interview. Pay is decent for a regional and Endeavor is a good place to work, but they DO NOT have a flow for us to Delta, and they reject nearly half of our pilots at the Delta Interview. There is a new agreement that if signed will give 30/hour pay rates to new FO's as well as a signing bonus, and better work rules. Best wishes to you and I hope this helps. Merry Christmas

The union reps vote on the TA tonight. All indications are that it will pass.

So after the union reps vote, does it go to management for approval? When does it get into effect if its 'yes' everywhere?

No, it will go in to effect as early as January 1 with some of the provisions rolling out over the next few months.

It will be nice to finally have some decent reserve rules in the contract, oh wait

Dude, what are you talking about? Aside from not having long call, there is a bunch of stuff for reserves. Our reserve rules will be better than the JCBA and some of the best in he regional industry. I will give you that it is skewed toward stuff that applies more to commuters, but a non commuter can use some of it too. And the caps on reserve mean you may not even need to worry about reserve anymore. In fact, with the movement that this is designed to staff, you won't anyway.

Not to mention guys will be able to commute in during their call out period; that's a significant improvement.

DUDE What are you talking about? This TA is a slap in the face for reserves. Explain to me how it helps out a P3 reserve? Explain to me how it bumps up my pay with 11 days off? Will I still need a crashpad ? will line holders be provided a hotel for a unscheduled overnight in domicile.

.THIS TA DOES NOT REPRESENT THE ENTIRE PILOT GROUP! Will we be off of reserve because of the enhancements of this TA? ......Maybe YOU don't know that for sure and either do I.

Not being negative or trying to call you out Batol, but you are misinformed and sound uneducated because you are thinking about one side of the pilot group. This needs to include everyone, and unfortunately at Endeavor we have really senior pilots that are really sick of sitting READY RESERVE.

BTW I know where the door is😏
