Why are you guys bringing 50 seaters out of the desert, and not getting more 76 seaters? How will scope choke affect Endeavor, with them seemingly now being DL's go to 50 seat lift?
Delta has planned 100/125, can't remember which of 50 seat lift. I believe they are almost scoped out on 76 seat lift. Anyway, other Delta connection carriers are having trouble staffing some Delta flights, and I believe they're bringing planes back to help cover them

Might some of it have to do with Republic (Shuttle America) not being able to staff the 50-seat flying they do for Delta?

As far as I know Delta is pretty much scoped out on 76-seat aircraft (though they may be able to add more with the new 190 and 739 order), so if Endeavor wants to add aircraft at the moment it has to be on the lower end of the scale. With fuel prices cheap at the moment and with the aircraft already in Delta's possession, it's a pretty low-cost move to add capacity.

To be fair, we aren't very senior, we've just been here a lot longer than most.

You're 100% correct. I got a little worked up during my response. This TA is a step in the right direction, but it still needs improvemnts on the reserve side. Eleven days off prevents us from open time participation, which essentially is a pay raise for everyone else.
Ready reseve is a waste of time. I haven't been used in four months on ready, and many of my colleagues say the same. ALPA knows ready reserve is a problem with the pilot group. It shouldn't be that hard to at least minimize the amount of ready assignments in one reserve stretch.

Also, the 20k a year bonus is there to stay as well correct?

It could start with crew scheduling not calling you all excited to notify you of ready reserve tomorrow morning. Especially when you're coming off a day of flying over min guarantee for the only time in a month. I'd rather get kicked in the teeth.

Increase of min days off would be nice too. Even just an increase to 12 would go a long way.

That being said I like the TA. There's always more to ask but this is definitely a step in the right direction.
(Note: I am a first year commuter on reserve.)

Looks like it passed. Hopefully just the first in many steps forward for 9E!

$50,000 guaranteed for first year pay... Who would have guessed it would have come to this even just a year ago?

Glad to see some progress. Obviously, still some QOL issues that need to be worked out, but it's a good start!

Memo from leadership:

"This evening, we received word that LOA 71 was ratified by the Endeavor ALPA MEC. This mutually beneficial package will make Endeavor pilots among the highest paid pilots in the regional industry, while giving pilot candidates an attractive option when considering where to start or continue their career. In return, the MEC has agreed to give Endeavor more control over the OE scheduling process, as well as an earlier report time for pilots as they start their day.
This agreement gives Endeavor the fuel it needs to grow our airline aggressively in 2016, while creating unprecedented career progression opportunities for all of our pilots. Starting in January, we will begin growing our fleet to at least 134 aircraft, upgrading more than 300 First Officers, and aim to hire 60 pilots a month throughout 2016.
I’d like to send my thanks to the pilot group and the MEC for their support in getting this deal done. Have a great weekend and safe travels to those of you on the road for the holidays."

Now the question remains...will they be able to pull this off?

Well, Richard Anderson said during their investor call the other day that Endeavor has delivered a business plan that works, and until they prove otherwise, I wouldn't bet against them.

There are going to be formers and haters who will root for the systemic failure of 9E, but I'm certainly not going to doubt them. Have you seen their performance numbers versus some of the other carriers out there? Shoot...given the places they fly and STILL hitting 100% CCF? Remarkable.

Good people, innovative approach to maintenance, and a growing fleet....plus this pay package...might be time to evaluate where my career is taking me!
