Pilots on leave have LOA next to their name on the seniority list. There's still a handful out there.

Gotcha, thanks!

Quote: That's very true my friend. I'm not disputing that there are many, many people that have been with EDV through thick and thin and been there for many years. By comparison I am a new hire. I was saying I'm not a new hire with regard to the quoted text from another person ask if I was new hire= in ground school/sim. Sorry for stepping on any ones toes.
Call you base FO ALPA representative. Much better option that this forum. If what you said is exactly accurate then there was a misaward and you need to contact union asap. PM if need any help. Good luck.

Is that not what he said? What is incorrect?

He's right,I just misread it.

Quote: Will the company let you voluntarily move bases on the same equipment and seat between vacancies? Lots of seats not filled in the base I want to go to I just didn't bid for it on 16-06. I looked through the contract and didn't find anything that said I could not, but also nothing said I could.
In a word, Nope. Gotta follow the contract.

nope, but you might have had your longevity frozen the day you took leave. There were a couple different deals they offered. You'd likely be able to come back in a New York captain seat (or even DTW or MSP depending on how you had your prefs set up when you left and seniority) but you'd probably have stopped accruing any longevity and sick/vacation time.

Someone gets upset, maybe they revise the award. Someone else gets upset. Maybe they don't revise the award. By the time it's settled the next vacancy is coming out. That's my guess.
