All of you guys saying that maybe just maybe the women pilots are putting in the work and that's why they are getting hired are blind. That may happen in a few cases but the overall majority is bull*hit. Minorities plus women equal 9% of ATP rated pilots, if more than 9% of each new hire class are women and minorities (which they absolutely are) that is indisputable proof they are getting preferential treatment.
Could a new hire FO on the CRJ be upgraded to the LHS in less than 2.5 years if he/she had over 1400 hours turbine SIC in part 121 ops from a previous airline?
Has there been any precedences for such in the recent past?
There still awarding bids but so far its droped to 2 years 2 monts for DOH for CRJ CA ORD
