They even warn you about it now on the DVR! If you want a different class date put an after date on your bid because all awards are auto accept...

Just because we are one of the only companies to auto accept the award doesn't make it right.

Sooo...got awarded upgrade for next month, which is a problem because I don't want it. The class date given conflicts with master vacation I was awarded, because SGU thought it convenient to cancel that for my class. Already sent emails to V and TG, but was curious if you guys had any other ideas for postponing upgrade.

I use to not be auto except.. i get why they changed it. One poor girl had to call every person. Worked great when we had 500 pilots and bids were small.. 4100+ pilots the system we have now works better.. there are plenty of warnings about when you bid.. plus there is "transparency". You can see what people are bidding..

Perhaps. There's still a lot of movement in the right seat though with upgrades and attrition. Combine that with all of the new aircraft over the next 6 months on the west coast and there shouldn't be a long time on reserve.
