Just for an FYI. Nobody asking this specifically but still this may answer some questions. Hired in Feb. IOE complete in May. Hit the line first of June. Initially assigned MSP but got FAT before done with training. Got into SLC August. On reserve Aug thru Nov. finally have a line for December. For all you asking about "how long", this may help some.

Just depends. SIM differences may happen before you even start IOE or maybe after you finish IOE or some time in between. Your IOE could be on the 700/900 with differences checkout in the 200, or vice versa. I've known guys to be checked out on the 700/900 before the 200, but usually it's the other way around.

You get to wait allll the way until after IOE though. Which if you're in the CRJ is a long time right now.

Apparently Ameriflight has been telling their pilots they have a reciprocal Jumpseat agreement with us. Sounds like the Delta/Alaska system squeaks them through as they are CASS members.
