Hi all

Anyone going to training at SLC starting 2 October?

What are the rooms like in the Candlewood are the bedrooms separate?

Any info about training like will we be there the whole time or will we be able to go home for a few days at some point?

Thanks

From what I have heard (have not gone through training yet myself.. possibly Nov 21) is that there are breaks in between INDOC, Ground, Sims, and IOE. Average overall time seems to be 6weeks give or take. Let me know how it goes! I'll be right behind you!

If you are doing the double occupancy, it's basically a one bedroom suite. It looks like a one bedroom apartment but the living area has one bed, there is a kitchen, bathroom, and a separate bedroom with a door.

Indoc is week 1, Monday through Friday.
Week two and three are systems. You get the weekends off. From day one to the end of systems, no days off except for weekends.

You may start sim the first day after systems, or you may have up to three weeks off before starting sim. It depends on what you bid and what is available.

During sim, you usually have 3-5 days in a row followed by 3-5 days off. Sim will last approximately 3 weeks.

What you choose to do with your weekends and days off is up to you.

It’s about time. The idea of using it as a holding cell for new FOs and CAs was making every other base suffer. Especially with the company continuing to take on more flying in SEA MSP and ORD

A new hire riding observation on my flight this week has been waiting 4 weeks and was told between 4-8 weeks.
