If a Delta pilot submits your name then yes, your app will be reviewed within 30 days. Even if your app warrants and interview invite there is no set timeline for when that can happen. It could still be several months before you heard anything.

Quote: After the NYC exclusive, and 737 heavy drop for 10 December, anyone know what “top men” are saying about the 7 January drop?
If you find a way to get drop info before it’s posted on the screen in Indoc you are a top man.

I remember in my class they were holding off on posting the drop by a couple hours while they republished what they wanted, and that was day one of Indoc.

I wish there could be a definite answer.. Scoring of the application is just that - scoring.
Once the application is scored it might not be competitive and the "backlog" or "crickets" or "not a peep" will continue until all or some sections of the application become more attractive and the app is scored again or competitive level drops.

Maybe everyone already knows this .. It would be a mistake to think that internal recommendations make an application more attractive. No, they are merely a tool to get the reviewers to look at the app.
You still need to compete, even if you have hundreds of IRs.

If the score is competitive - welcome to another pool By definition the swimming time depends on the rate of the industry hiring at the moment.

Do poolies receive any sort of indication of passing all the post-interview CJO checks prior to receiving an email for a class start date?

The numbers fluctuate within the current year. They don’t publish anything that far out.

.

Does DAL pass info to poolies indicating when they’ve cleared all the post-interview CJO hurdles or is the only correspondence received an email with a start date? If they do let you know when you’ve passed, any idea how long it typical takes?

Sorry if this question ends up posting several times, but I asked in another thread and it never ended up actually publishing.

8000 needed in the next 10 or slightly less years. That’s the best number you’re gonna get.

430, 530 and 730 mandatory retirements in those respective years. Wild guess, that means 600, 700, 900 might actually retire. Add or subtract numbers based on your own guess concerning likely expansion or contraction.

Adjust further based on your guess about the likelihood in those years of the start of World War III, the collapse of our Republic or global economic meltdown.

Merry Christmas!
