ipad 6th gen. They added the 8th gen on the op specs as well so you might get lucky and be issued one

Default Vaccine mandate

With american and alaska now following United's lead, is it likely skywest may end up mandating the vaccine for employees too?

Didn't the government require companies with more than 100 employees to mandate the vaccine or do weekly testing?
In that case at some point I'd suppose SkyWest wouldn't have a choice anymore...

It's starting to be built back up as they just awarded 15+ in each seat during the last award. Block is still pretty down tho. My guess would be by next Summer it'll be at least equal to, if not more, than MSP CRJ block.

I thought that affected all of the airlines too but I guess since delta is still holding out and the others just enacted that policy, they found some way to get around it for a while? Idk I was slightly confused by that cuz I wouldve assumed all the airlines have to enforce it by now.

There's some companies that simply might not be able to afford the personnel loss if they make it mandatory. Sure most of the pilots would suck it up and get vaxxed, but the amount of FAs and ground crew who work at SkyWest who don't want it is probably significant, and many of them simply don't care about their peanut-paying job enough to get a shot they don't want.

Got an interview for FO next week, studying my butt off for it! Are the class dates really all the way out in March next year? Assuming I get the offer, studying my butt off right now. I have 1600 hours and ATP CTP from an employer that put me through it right before COVID
