00 wants to dump the EAS flying (that they are contracted to fly) to go after other flying at a lower price and basically undercutting all of the other Regional Flying. Because they are having staffing issues and cannot seem to get people in the door because of LO PAY? 00 is also lowering everyone else’s pay buy trying a stunt like this….Glad the transportation Sec said “um No!”

Hello all. Excuse me if this topic has been covered already, but I’m currently considering 9E vs OO in an attempt to get MSP as soon as possible. Currently have interviews with both in the next month, so I understand that nothing is guaranteed. I know 9E can be difficult to get MSP on anything but the 200, but even then I’ve heard the timeline can be lengthy. Is MSP seeing more CRJ or ERJ flying and does anyone know how that share of flying is trending? Thanks in advance!
OO is taking 16 more E175’s to replace 900’s. So E175 MSP is a good bet if you get hired.. i wouldn't base any decision on CRJ200’s….

did you mean pay negotiations? There really isn’t negotiations. Management goes to the management council and tells them what to tell the pilots and how to get them to accept it as truth. The the back and forth and pretend votes play out and eventually management gets its way and the pilots all act angry again because they didn’t get their way. History just repeats. Like clockwork.

I'm currently with everyone else awaiting IOE on the CRJ. I'm now on my third base - DFW. It almost looks as if DFW is overstaffed on the FO side, but the bid info page says there are about 10% reserve lines.
I live in Houston and am trying to decide between staying DFW and commuting to a line (hopefully soon) versus bidding IAH and sitting reserve for longer. From what I've seen the past few months, IAH movement isn't great and there is a much larger percentage of reserve lines compared to DFW. Also IAH is mostly 200 while DFW is all 700s. Any info from CRJ FOs in DFW or IAH would be greatly appreciated.

This. Given MSP is the only Delta OO 175 base it’s easy to figure out what’s happening. Newest 9s (atmospheres) are Delta owned and not a corporate fav in the livery so (probably) shifting to WO 9E.

The delay is shifting to ground. I know someone who’s class is delayed 2 months between Indoc and Ground.

Because of all the LCAs they’ve been training? That would be impressive if they could reduce the size of the backup they have!

I hope you are correct. Especially on the CA side where it’s needed urgently.
