No more are FO just doing " Gear up, Flaps up, Shut up" and calling us half wingers is looking down on regional pilots. No wonder there is so much hate...

I am a proud half winger at UA and I am happy to sling his gear. There is no disrespect in his statement.

Triggered much? Lighten up Francis

It an epidemic. "I have no idea what's being said, but I have a very strong opinion about it!"

FYI, Kirby can add more rj’s if he want without an ounce of capitulation from us. Yet he isn’t 🤔. But you probably knew that. Yet we are adding more Airbus, soon to resume the maxes, 777, 767, and 787’s without parking any.

Don’t worry though, all will be forgiven when you come over. I promise beer and dinner is on me when you sling gear for me. We take care of our half wingers.
What is the sentiment right now over there for hiring SkyWest pilots assuming this isn’t resolved soon? You were lucky to move on sooner than later.

Sentiment it is to be seen in the coming weeks
But I can tell you that at Alpa National I heard many times United pilots mentioned that captains are calling pro standards on new hires from Skywest that are a right seat captains

Not good when a captain calls on any new hire pro standards

And what's the reason for those calls?. A month ago Skywest had an awesome reputation amongst the majors and now this place is the worse in the industry?

Not sure how much intranets and webz hype it is considering other carriers have now been told that if we get denied the jumpseat to report it to ALPA as well as management. Not sure I'd want my name on that list. Some of you don't realize the hornets nest you're beating on.

You guys really need to straighten out the leadership decisions coming from your so called "association." There is no doubt that by denying jumpseats to United pilots you are ****ing away future job opportunities for some of you at United. They are keeping up with the names that deny the seat. Hopefully you **** of United enough that this will be remembered as your future flying comes up for renewal!!!

You are literally advocating that captains don’t really control their jumpseat. Think about this. Is this what you really want. This is the last nice thing we have.
