No thanks.
I appreciate ALPA demonstrating their faults during a drive.

Whether it’s a guy smearing the name and public profiles of two OO pilots that didn’t even deny the jumpseat, or the two UAL guys who came up to me yesterday at the airport just to tell me they will do everything they can to make sure I never work at UAL.
If that really happened I hope you follow up with names and a formal workplace harassment complaint to HR.

UALPA forces a non-negotiated "agreement" on Skywest pilots and somehow Skywest pilots are the ones getting the blame for the repercussions? Unreal.

UALPA - pitting pilots groups against each other for three decades. Congrats on yet another unnecessary conflict. Things must be going pretty well over there to have to come picking on us little guys.

I fear UALPA has a short term memory and has forgotten all the ways Skywest has bailed them out. (Does anyone recall when UAL was unable to make payroll and came to Skywest for a loan?)

So now, Skywest pilots are simply trying to protect jumpseat priority and all of a sudden, careers are being threatened? Only UALPA could come up with this brilliant plan. Skywest pilots didn't ask for this. UALPA could solve this in one quick phone call.

"You need to agree with us or we'll ruin your career!" How professional.

Let the representative pilot groups work this out. Getting overly dramatic about all this is an embarrassment to our profession.

Aren't Skywest pilots used to agreements being forced on them by now? St George has been doing it for decades.

KoolAid drinker. Are you a lifer or a newbie who doesn’t know better? It’d be sad if you’re in between those two categories. That’s a shame.

PSA: There’s already multiple emails sent to UAL HR with screenshots of social media posts with names attached. These have been sent to HR by other UAL pilots. There’s also discussions about legal action that may be taken by the union. I would expect to hear something from all companies involved in this mess very soon. Hopefully nobody will be losing their job because of this.

I'm sorry, but honestly if any United pilot decides to make an extreme scene as well as taking names down and vindictively turning it into HR with a "do not hire tag', I sincerely hope they get fired. That kind of personality should not represent a respected name like United. It even makes me rethink where i want to move on to.

Even if they maliciously decide to think "oh hey i have nothing better to do let's see if I can jump on a skywest plane and get denied just to make a point" I guarantee you that one of those guys exist in UAL.

This rebuttal is exceptionally poor.

I'm looking at the tables for my UEX-E airline and it appears the #1 line for the table posted by the Republic pilot is a typo. UAL must-ride personnel should only apply to UAL aircraft jumpseats. All UEX tables should read, "FAA, Government, or Approved Carrier Personnel - Must Ride"

I agree and hopefully that just carried over from the UAL aircraft priority chart. It does need to be cleaned up though before anything is signed. Those management types have to be specifically listed by name in the respective carriers F.O.M.
