Overstaffed...

Some guys do stuff like that... they know they'll get recalled to a good job in a few years, and don't want the hassle of starting over in the white-collar world. Path of least resistance.

Quick question... I'm curious what the take is for the Training Pilot Pay that was offered last month. As I sit unable to collect unemployment, I'm getting ready to click the button to get the pay. My question is, does anyone know what happens if we get a job else where? I have interviews set up. I'm afraid if I take the pay, then land the job, that they're going to ask for some lump sum back if I don't come back from the LOA. Anyone have any inputs? Can they chase the cash down?

They can’t come get the money without a lawsuit. You can have a second job anyway. You have no possible 117 issue. (Currently)
The people you are interviewing with though will want to know what you are up to and your plans if you get called back to class.
And b, it is odd you were denied unemployment.
edit: also good luck, hope the job works out. I be surprised if trainees don’t get a real furlough soon like the other airlines are doing.

It is a displacement, not a furlough.....yet. How would either affect scope or feed outside of bankruptcy?
