You place the blame on the major pilots for the outsourcing, but expect the regional pilots to correct the situation? Interesting. Seems like the only pilots that can fix the mistake are the ones that made it.

The Major pilots are not doing much to fix it. What else can we do?
Look at Delta and Alaska, they vote yes for every TA put in front of them.

True. You just spend a lot of time in their forum and defend them. But you are right, it was an assumption. I am starting to think you're not even a pilot. I'm thinking desk jockey who likes the skywest flavored koolaid.

So go post in their forums. Bashing regional pilots and CPAs created by the major airlines is a waste of energy (really, posting on any forum is a waste of energy).

SkyWest makes their kool-aid sweet!

SkyWest is a descent company. There's always room for improvement, just like your pilot skills, I imagine. Ideally, we all would fly for a major and every time I buy a lottery ticket I would win millions as well. Not going to happen.

Good luck on your future (ad)ventures.

Sorry you failed so bad at trying to dig yourself out of the hole you dug for yourself. I actually feel kind of guilty letting you continue to hang yourself.
No mud slinging here. No name calling, no lies. I'm tired of the regional insanity. You know why I am on here. Why are you?

Thanks. Other then your pilot skill reference everything you said was civil. Unlike your buddy, mercyfulfate.

Skywest pilots pay 38% of their premiums. I would say that is the bigger problem. Some plans will have higher deductibles, copays, etc. That's ok if you choose those plans knowing your out of pocket expenses might be higher. And if they provide some money to offset that, then great. But it is diminished if you have to pay a large portion of the premiums. If it was me, I would be asking them to lower the pilots' share to 25%. That will take a good chunk of the premium off of the pilots' pay check.

That's like saying that you shouldn't expect any pay raises on the next pay package because you accepted the pay rates when you accepted the job. So don't be cheap.

As we know, ALPA is not really a union. It's an association of separate pilot unions. Each MEC decides what they think is best for their pilots only. They or any other entity or person regardless of position cannot compel any other MEC what to do. ALPA has certainly made things better for all pilots. Many places would be worse off without a union. Just imagine any current unionized regional without a union and things would be worse for all of those pilots. Anyway, if your CEO can enjoy the benefits of an employment contract, why shouldn't the employees?

It wasn't a dig at your skills. Mine can always use improvement as well. Lots to be exact!

All I'm saying is SkyWest isn't perfect, but it's a good place to be if you have to be at a regional. It's not $121/hour in 20 years, but Horizon doesn't pay that any longer either.

I don't know Mercyful Fate. I figured (s)he is a crew scheduler.

Last I checked koolaid and desk jockey are not insults. Your posts that have been removed were insulting.
