sooo by the end of this month well say well get em? you would assume that since we just got the new airside kits at least until that subscription with jeppesen is over we would get them with some overlap to actually let the crews use and get accustomed to them... real answer is nobody knows?? ??

Now we don't know when they will finish with express jet but that's supposed to be by the end of this month. We should all have them by the end of or mid October.

are the EFB's going to be distributed to pilots only on the line currently or also be given to new hires in training?

Newhires should get them day 1.. Proboly starting End of Sep.. They wanted the first class of sep.. (Because its the first class going through with the new SOPM). But the timeline broke down..

I believe it was sent out in the negotiation updates. I think mike t sends out? Don't quote me on that but it's also on the sapa forums under the new topic rj just made a couple days ago.

They just sent a memo out. Sapa just met at sgu and they discussed tg signing the efb proposal. And how they will start rolling them out after express jet.
Now we don't know when they will finish with express jet but that's supposed to be by the end of this month. We should all have them by the end of or mid October.

FYI, the last base at xjt to begin issuing these EFBs won't start until October 6th. I don't know how long afterwards until everyone has them but I know some pilots at the first base they were issued on August 19th haven't gotten them yet.
