They don't care about your type rating or experience at Skywest. It's a regional job. They could teach a CFI to be an E175 FO just as easily if not more easily than they could teach you. What they care about in the interview is your attitude and whether they could stand to fly a 4 day trip with you. It sounds like you failed that part. Sorry.

It's a bummer that you didn't get hired, IF OO is a place you truly want to be take the exit interview you had seriously and reflect upon your sins which led to TBNT letter. If that doesn't work, then get some blow and hookers.

If it means not having to run in to you, gladly. Proved your point? Honestly, why all the hate? I never said I was entitled to anything, only that I was qualified, didn't get an offer and that I found it amusing. What has gone so wrong in your life you have to spew such venom? Please get some help for your anger issues, you need it....

No kidding, man. Over and over again, over the past few years, I've just had to shake my head at what comes across as pure arrogance from so many Skywest pilots who frequent this, and other forums.
So, occasionally, some pilot will come on here and wonder out loud, maybe with some well understood frustration (as I'm sure most, if not all of you would if you were in the same situation) why he or she may have been turned down, when their qualifications are obviously well above minimums, usually with prior 121 time. Immediately, some of you guys jump all over the pilot's character and condemn him or her for their suppposedly bad attitude, as if any of you have any clue why any of these pilots may have REALLY been turned down.
So quick to pile onto the condemnation bandwagon, so many of you Skywest pilots are (and have been for some years now). You know nothing of these pilots and yet you'll quickly come to some far reaching conclusion about their character and how awful they must be to be around, simply armed with one or two posts on some internet forum.
It must be amazing to be as awesome as some of you seem to think you all are.
For years I've noticed this about those who represent the Skywest pilot group in these forums. So many of you folks just come off time and again as being supremely arrogant.
I'm guessing (hoping) that you folks represent the actual minority of pilots who fly for Skywest, as the three guys I know who fly for your airline are great guys who simply roll their eyes and laugh when I occasionally tell them about the tone of so many of your posts.
I'm going to finish up by saying that, in terms of attitude, you folks are the ones who will need to learn to check that at the door, or your mainline interviews will probably end in disappointment.

I suppose instead, he should have bowed down to the cognoscenti at Skywest, admitted his obvious shortcomings, and asked how those as enlightened as yourselves could help him out.
The reality is, for whatever reason (quite probably the fact that he'd be out of there sooner than management would prefer, considering his quals), Skywest decided not to hire him. His likely disappointment was obviously mixed with some 'amusement" as to why they didn' hire him.
I'll say it again, most of you - if you were in his exact same situation - would likely react the same way.

I've only flown with one person who freely admits to posting here and he's not exactly the most liked person at the company, and takes pride in that fact. Those are the kinds of pilots you're dealing with here.

Are you new to APC or something? Look at the posts people make representing ANY airline on these forums. Every person who posts here is a vocal minority for every airline. It's not like the Skywest thread is any more arrogant sounding than the Envoy, XJT, PSA, Mesa, etc threads.
