They don't give us mere peasants that information (unless we happen to be in recurrent and ask around). If you've interviewed or been accepted recently your best bet would be to call in and ask.

The last time I was in training department they said that they're having a little bit of trouble completely filling classes and there have been a few open seats in most of them recently. It's probably a safe bet that there are a couple of open seats in the Jan 27th class.

I just completed an ORD -900 trip.

It started with ORD-MEM-DEN on day one and ended with SLC-ORD. As I'm certain you already know, just because you're based in a United hub doesn't mean you're restricted to United flying.

Have you guys seen a reduction in your trip length mix? Here at XJT nearly all of our trips are now 4 days. There are very few 1, 2, or 3 day trips since 117 came into force. How have you faired over at Skywest?

I could only get one 4 day trip this month and 4 2days and I bid 58%. I only bid for 3-4 day trips. But I'm in a small base so that might have something to do with it

I know of at least two in the 1/10 interview group that got calls within an hour of leaving the hanger with offers for 1/27 class - either aircraft.

Yup. We saw a huge increase in 4 days too. They all seem to leave base on day 1 and not return until day 4. Really makes it difficult to break up trips if you don't like long trips. I know the locals are upset about this.

Took about a day for a lot of us in the 1/9 interview to hear back.

Could anyone answer a question about bases at Skywest based on aircraft? I have used the search function and haven't been able to find anything more current then 2007. Just wondering what the bases are for the embraer and the crj. Thank you for your time.

By embraer I'm guessing you mean 175 and not 120. EJet will be crewed out if ORD only.

APC profile has an accurate list of CRJ crew bases.
