People are negotiating for and against you. Whether you choose not to believe it and keep your head in the ground, that's your problem.
And what did ALPA have to do with any of this? You never answered that question. Will you dodge it again?

That's not true. I'm specifically talking about SkyWest Airlines. Just look at section 1 of the XJT TA. What I wrote previously is fact. We go with aircraft with our seniority and longevity. And if XJT furloughs with a bilateral flow agreement, those pilots go to Skywest Airlines.

You guys can negotiate whatever you want. It will never come to fruition, mark my words.

The other point being, management at XJT and Inc, and ASA/XJT ALPA are negotiating for things that may directly affect Skywest pilots. And apparently, none of you guys even know about it. When are you guys going to wise up to the ways of this industry? You are being played and are ignorant to it.

Probably true. I personally don't see them transferring ERJs. The 59 700/900 maybe (otherwise Inc wouldn't have negotiated/agreed to that language) in a worst case scenerio. Because I don't believe that Inc would just let those aircraft go to someone else, especially since there is a mechanism to transfer them to a cheaper operation with pilots to operate them.

Please tell us ole wise one. What are we being so ignorant to? From what I've talked to SAPA about I feel like they are very aware of negotiations at ExpressJet and what could/will affect us. Now maybe the average line pilot is ignorant but there are lots of ignorant pilots at all airlines

So tell me, what else has been negotiated on your behalf that's in the XJT TA. I can think of a good gem right off the top of my head.
I don't know, maybe I'm wrong on who is playing you seeing that apparently SAPA hasn't informed their supposed constituents, the average line pilot.

Why do Skywest and expressjet pilots continue to bicker like little school girls? Both pilot groups are fighting the same concessions. If the Skywest group agrees to something you can bet it's going to expressjet too.

But to answer your question, the reason why is because Skywest pilots (whether they know it or not) want to enjoy the fruits of organized labor without paying for it. The proverbial "riding of coat tails" if you will.
Many don't even know that they have language in their work rules that piggy backs off of our negotiations. Much less know what the TA says in those sections. As evidenced in this thread.
