The new package might barely keep up with inflation if you take into account the medical and uniform allotment increase.
I suppose the seat lock increases are not too big of a deal except for new hire Bro FOs...a lot of them bail for the jet at one year, so that should save the company some coin. At least they gave them a raise for their extra year in Bro land...

Keeping up with inflation would be nice but in this industry is not possible. Especially when our competition's caving to 12 pay scales plus other concessions, we must maintain a difficult balance of above industry average pay and competitive corporate cost structure. What's interesting to me is that this is only a 1 year agreement. IMO that so we can re-evaluate our cost, when compared to our competitors, just before DL implements rate resets on us in 2015.

In light of what's going on around us, I'm impressed! As a former turbo prop pilot, I am very happy for those guys getting a decent pay rate! I'd say this is a no brainer, our bar actually got raised and we don't even have ALPO...go figure...or maybe were just riding coat tails?
