Chill, Nancy. All I'm saying is, everytime Alaska and Delta try to one-up each other on a new route, SkyWest seems to somehow end up doing the flying. I've provided plenty of evidence.

Skywest may win but all pilots lose in the long run. More outsourcing = fewer good career jobs.

Do you guys happen to know if Skywest is interviewing people below ATP Mins? I know a couple of airlines have been interviewing people below mins and then telling them to call when they have the hours or just giving them a far out class date. Also, Skywest does not use Airline Apps correct? You apply directly through their website?

Thanks!

This right here. NVUS seems pretty happy about his beloved SkyWest getting more work. I've been lurking a good bit I notice who the Kool-Aid drinkers are.

Yes they do. I interviewed about 150 hours before I got my R-ATP mins with around 850 TT. I called to get it all rolling, got my app in, then got a call back.

You're right, we should say no. No thanks, Delta. Let Compass have it. Or Mesaba. Or Shuttle. Or GoJet. Anyone but us, we already have enough. Thanks, though.

How about mainline doing their flying rather than subcontractors held to a lower experience and safety standard?

Yeah I would rather have that.

You should then be posting on the Majors board. The mainline pilots are the ones that can change that, not regional pilots.

They can change the level of safety standards? I'm pretty sure everyone plays by the same rules. 121 is 121.
