Not quite. A very senior SKW CA would be making $150K. That would take 5-10 years at the worst of the LCC's. No way was I taking a five+ year pay cut.

What's wrong with that model?

Keeps average unit cost low so SGU can afford all the lifers and throw them a 401(k) bone when it comes to vote in the next sub-par TA.

Its a numbers problem. We have 4560 pilots. And lost 49 pilots in December.. thats just going to be normal attrition going forward.. what do we compare % wise to Other airlines. Probably close or less..

The problem is your operation turns into average at best. If that's what your shooting for then great but this is not how SKYW sells itself to it's customers.

2 bedroom 2 bath with a living room and a functional kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised.

I was based in ORD for 3 months, made it to SFO, sat reserve for about 3 more months. 3 months later I’m bidding for the days off I want and generally getting them.

I’d be more senior in BOI.

I also sent you a PM. Since you’re about to do the exact same thing I did. Feel free to contact me anytime.

I PM'd you as well :)

But really, I’d take my 2 year FO pay bump, please. Thanks.

I think you’re confused. I heard a minus 50 cent raise not $50/hr. We are all going to give up $.50/hr but don’t worry it’s for the good of the company and we will get more airplanes.
Less money + more airplanes = better QOL. Everyone knows that!

May want to temper your expectations. I wouldn’t put it past them to try to offer an increase to first year pay only.
We have a large percentage of people in their first year, many of which believe they will be on to a major before their second year. So if they throw a bunch of money at the new hires and make a bunch of fancy charts to fool the weak minded again and there’s a good chance it will pass.
