2nd year FO with 33k taxable income in 2017. I would say it’s livable to a point. For a single person yes. For a single income family not so much. This jobs schedules usually mean the spouse has to be a stay at home parent.

Mine didn't. We had for jobs between us (both mil).

We did homestead near friends and family, in a town with plenty of commuting options.

Not saying you should. What you should have done was have interventions with anyone who even thought of voting yes.

Mine didn't. We had for jobs between us (both mil). Stability with her job helped in the rough years.

They don't expect you to live there, unless you have a sugar momma, or the 'rents basement. Pilots are as much to blame for that as anyone.

Many voted yes because they didn’t care. I’m flying with guys and gals who are in the middle of messy divorces and breakups because the QOL has gotten so bad, their families are leaving. So they don’t care. They take what they can get because they are too busy dealing with their failing personal lives. It’s rampant as the QOL gets worse....

And they somehow thought that voting yes to a garbage package that included 0 QOL improvements would somehow help their cause?
